3Greens3Greens.nl is a website dedicated to military aviation photography. It does not serve any commercial or political purposes and only exists to enjoy aviation enthusiasts with our pictures and accompanying stories.The name 3Greens was derived from the fact that this website is maintained by three persons. In aviation terms "3 greens" means that all three parts of the landing gear are safely extended. In the cockpit this is indicated by three green dots, hence the name "3 greens". The digital ageOver the years we have visited numerous airbases in many different countries. The introduction of digital camera's finally made it easier for us to reach a big population with the pictures we took. As for now, most of the articles on our website date from the period after we got our digital gear. However, we intend to disclose our analog pictures in the near future. Please visit the "pre-DSLR" section on a regular basis to check the out material we managed to scan so far.
